Charlton Warren leaving

Even if he didn't have ties here I don't think he did at NC either. And the potential to be a championship caliber team is a hell of a lot better here than NC. Oh well I guess

 
I can't blame him for leaving. He was considered one of the top recruiters in the B1G and had experience as a DC and he was going to make less money per year than everyone else other than Bray.

I would have left too.

He is taking the same position at UNC. So it was the pay?

If this turns out to be a situation where he left just left because a basketball school offered him more money then people should be mad. Our AD made it pretty clear during the coaching search that money was not an issue at Nebraska. If Nebraska is getting out bid by a school like UNC then there is problems in the athletic department.

I believe he is taking the same position as DB coach but also adding co-DC. That is a step up and he has ties to the HC.

This sounds to be more than just more money.
