It's the ACC that misses out on the playoff this past year if someone could've actually put the last nail in the coffin against FSU. Sorry, I disagree with you if you think the ACC was better than B10.

Duke has a football team!?
Yes, they've won ONE more games than us in the last two seasons.
FIFY
Since you brought it up, it is actually interesting to compare Nebraska and Duke. Both programs hired new HC in 2008. In that time, Nebraska is 66-28, Duke is 40-48. Duke did go 10-4 and 9-4 the last two seasons, after 13 consecutive losing seasons (5 yrs under their current HC). Nebraska has almost an identical record the last two seasons (two 9-4 seasons), 27 MORE wins the 5 season before that, appeared in conference championships 3 of the last 7 yrs, and decided to make a HC change. I would imagine Bo would not have had the 7 yrs in Nebraska if his first 2 or 3 were anything like what occurred at Duke, but you are right, Duke has a football team.

BTW, Nebraska has the top attended spring game so far this year. Duke did have a spring game, on their indoor practice field, with a handful of people in attendance.

2015 Spring Game Attendance Records Duke does not even make the list.

Matty, have you ever heard the saying, "Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades"?

ACC
An ACC team won the national championship in 2014 and made the playoff this year. Clemson also beat OSU last year. Not a very valid argument.
ACC is easily the weakest Power 5 conference, who wouldn't have made the playoff without FSU and in any other conference, FSU wouldn't have even been in playoff contention.

Ha yes, I use it everyday. Except it's "Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades" around these parts...
