The skinny: The opener vs. BYU will tell us a lot about the Cornhuskers. South Alabama lacks name-brand appeal, but it’s tough. The trip to Miami will allow Nebraska to see how much speed it has.
Here is the full list,

2. Nebraska (BYU, South Alabama, Miami, Southern Miss)

3. Minnesota (TCU, Colorado St, Kent St, Ohio)

Have to hand it to Michigan - that's about as tough of a non-con as there is in the country, I would think.

I figured we'd be up there with two quality opponents.

I feel like we're more likely to go 4-0 than Wisconsin is. Which IMO makes our schedule easier. That's not to say it won't be tough for us to go 4-0 or that Wisconsin can't beat Alabama.

2. Nebraska (BYU, South Alabama, Miami, Southern Miss)
I like this OOC schedule. It's almost ideal, if you ask me. Miami is a marquee game. And NU v. BYU will get a lot of attention too. Southern Miss is a decent program, just going through a down cycle right now. Really, South Bama is the only weak team. And we need at least one patsy game.

Please, please, please let us win that BYU game. And start out the Riley era with a win.
