Signed - QB Patrick O'Brien

B2G Elite Camp Top Ten

1. Patrick O’Brien QB San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) San Juan Hills: The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Nebraska commit was consistent the entire weekend, but he really upped his play the final day during the ‘A-Game’ 7-on-7 competition. O’Brien made good decisions throughout the weekend, displayed excellent arm strength and accuracy.

Him blowing up and dominating this camp has to help us with wr talent in California. Pittman was also a top performer. Hopefully he wants to link up with an on the rise qb and we start pulling some serious cali wr talent the next few years.

Congrats to POB for the work he has put in to get to this point. Same to our coaches for finding and identifying him early in the process. As was said above, WR should be beating down the door now to get here. Lets find 2 or 3 solid OT's and make this a knock out class.

Best QB in California this year.
Hopefully he can take the whole cake at the finals
Even if he doesn't, just making the final cut is a big deal. This format is much better than in years past. Now it just becomes a matter of the recruiting services admitting they were completely wrong, and adjusting his rating accordingly.
If you ain't first you're last
Of course lol

Day 2 of the camp, POB was listed as #12 overall and #2 among QBs. Again, that's a pretty good showing for him. Sets him up well for the Elite 11 finals.

So for the finals, do they start from scratch or do that combine previous performances to their overal rankings?
I know some don't like Dilfer, but he has a pretty good eye and knows his stuff, POB is getting invaluable coaching.

Edit: I know you posted a different camp than the Elite 11

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but they should start from scratch.

He has had a few schools reach out to him since he committed, but he told everyone, he is not interested because he is solid to Nebraska. Will take an official to Nebraska for the Wisconsin game.
