Dan was one of my coaches in high school back in the late 70's and early 80's. One of my favorite people while growing up. He's still going strong today.22 DAN SCHNEISS

Nice! The forgotten Husker. Too bad there's no pic of him available. For those who may not be familiar with Mathison, he was the greatest QB who never played while at Nebraska. Sat on the bench behind Turner Gill. Then went on to a decent career in the NFL. Here's an old article from the LJS about him. LINKBruce Mathison wore #19 while he played QB at NU. He later went on to play for the Seahawks, Bills and Chargers in the NFL.
