Damn him and his level-headedness. He makes good points but my jury is still out on Riley. I wasn't impressed with his hire because he hasn't proven one thing

The only thing Riley has proven is that he could have a couple good years with ok talent. Other than that he has been average-bad.

What I appreciate most about reading some of these takes (from ex-players, or Nebraska media) is even when they're disappointed and feel there's room to criticize, they try (or are constrained) to do it constructively. They might've been throwing chairs and cursing the staff watching the game but they know the equivalent of pouring that out in written form is just bluster, not discussion. They have insight to share, but they're also former Husker players who love the program and now can only watch, just like the rest of us.
Will be eager to hear the HuddlePass this week from Zac & Ron.

I agree. Most of the former players keep it pretty level-headed. But not all of them. I kind of miss Jason Peter getting radio access, especially after games like this.

the way i see it (usually on drugs) is that the guy won't be leaving this year.... so we just got to ride it out... get frustrated and get our hopes up only to fall flat again... but you know if 9 wins was the bar we fired bo on (at all that other stuff...) whats the bar for riley to justify keeping him if he stays on longer than a few years..... what does that say?? i don't know... could go on for hours but my street bought viagra is about to kick in and i got be all like Luke in da first stars wars and blow the sh#t outta that death star......
