***Northwestern Game Thread***

What a circus! Started with Pellini and hasn't ended yet. Time will tell if we ever get through these stumbling and bumbling years.

Northwestern held Stanford to 85 yards rushing.

You guys don't understand that you have to attack weaknesses of defenses right? LOL why I even come here on gameday....i don't even know.
Thanks for that insight on the first game of the season.
Duke 158 yards

Ball st 180 yards

Mich. 200 yards.

Iowa. 300. Yards.

I can see why you stay away. You don't know football
Considering the fact that NW has the 67th ranked rush D allowing 154.6 yards on the ground per game we've kind of given up on attacking that even if it doesn't work, we seem to bail on the run game which is a huge mistake, IMO.

This is definitely one of Armstrong's worst games. Terrible throwing and terrible decision making.

With that said, I still give him a break because it's very obvious in this game, as it has been every game this season, that Armstrong is not being used correctly at all. He is NOT a passing QB, and everyone except the people calling the plays knows this! Nobody is going to perform well at anything if they're being demanded to perform using their weaknesses instead of their strengths. We got a demonstration of what Armstrong's strengths were with the option TD, and yet the staff still refuses to use him appropriately in spite of obviously knowing what he's good at.

These kinds of small but baffling decisions don't give me confidence that this staff will ever accomplish anything of substance even with better players.
