Nebraska is a ho hum state with crappy weather. The population of the entire state is less than 1.75 million people. There are few 5 star, blue chip in state prospects

With reduced scholarships nation wide, recruits will get more playing time much as freshman and sophomores,

They is reduced tendency for really good out of state blue chip players to come to frozen wastelands of Nebraska

I think we may have to accept we are destined to be about what we currently are
