Imani Cross.........

Imani Cross is one of my favorite players. He has worked harder than any running back since he has been at Nebraska. He is a class man, and I hope he finishes his Nebraska career with a really big boom. I hope we win our next two games and our bowl game, and he is a big part of those wins.

 
This is the Cross we all wanted to see his whole career. The guy could've quit when he was passed over on the depth chart every season, but he didn't. Got his opportunity, and made the most of it. Congratulations Imani! AND GO BIG RED

Totally. Newby got stopped as soon as he made contact with the Sparty defenders. Imani Cross was the man tonight.

When you let Imani run downhill, he looks like a different guy. When you force him sideline to sideline, he looks terrible. The coaching staff gave him the lead, and utilized him in the way Imani would be most successful. Credit to Imani for carrying the running game, literally. And credit to Langsdorf for finally realizing what Imani is best at, and letting him do that all game long.

 
Ran with a purpose tonight. So did Janovich. Good game by the guys up front (tough Mich St front), and nice job by backs getting as much as they could.

I thought for sure that was going to cost us the game. I was yelling at the tv when they did this

I was so glad to see Imani get the ball, and run over the highly regarded Spartan defense. I think I'll have another beer. But tomorrow when I'm hung over, I'll realize I'm sad I didn't see him do it last week.

 
Agree. Imani was the man. He just didn't run well. Today, he had an air of confidence that helps other players and get us fans pumped up.

Very easy to cheer for him. Class act.

 
never understood why Amani wasn't used more, guess it is the running backs coach who decides who is in and who is bench riding? Amani has always been the short-yardage guy. I think he is under utilized...
