That isnt the mods fault.. more the way this team is playing is allowing for all the idiots to come out of the woodwork.

The record has something to do with the who/what but that doesn't mean the posters should be able to post the same exact crap over and over across dozens of threads each week. I understand if a week passes and they still feel the same way and want to complain again, but it's been much more obnoxious than that.
Let me clarify, just in case, I'm talking one poster spouting the same crap over and over. Not multiple posters saying the same thing.

I don't understand how mods are getting kinda bagged on here? We love this place which is why we volunteer our time here. We do the best we can and when I hear people bagging on us about the terrible job we do it makes it tough to even want to do it. We follow the rules the best we can, that's our guidance in what we do and how we enforce things. There are times where we deviate from those, but that's few and far between. We try to allow all different opinions and people aren't always going to agree with those opinions and that's fine. Just because you may not agree with something someone says doesn't mean they deserve to be banned. That'll get turned around on me, but I'm simplifying what I'm trying to say quite a bit. There is a lot more discussion and things going on behind the scenes than any of you know which is the way it should be. But don't think we aren't doing things and watching things. We've got a great group of mods and admins that work well together and do the best we can to keep this place going in the right direction. Unfortunately seasons like this bring morons out of the woodwork and they tend to get negative and lose their minds. Remember your opinion is your opinion, doesn't mean it's right or wrong, it's just an opinion, not necessarily facts.

BRI- I didn't mean to bag on the mods. But they (you) do happen to be the only ones who can remedy some of these problems. I think you guys do a greatly job and are fair and equitable most all of the time. The problem really isn't the mods but rather the rules that govern what action the mods take. Moiraine had a good suggestion that posting the same thing repeatedly, in multiple threads, especially when the gist of it is negative and anti-Nebraska, should be a greater offense than, say, calling somebody, who is acting like a tool, a tool.
Trust me, I don't envy the mods job nowadays. This place is a hot mess.

I don't think anyone's really bagging on the mods. But things need to change. I hardly look at the football forum anymore because so many f'ing idiots are allowed to make topic after topic and post after post of the same sh#t. Plus, condescending posts are constantly allowed when they can be just as annoying as the "personal attacks" with curse words.

That's why I'm not around here that much, and why I make only a couple post a week in the football forum. True doing it is even more baffling. For a guy that talked a tough game I expected more.
