I feel like we were dragging behind UCLA & Stanford, but after this weekend I feel like we possibly have flung ourselves back in front.

I hope we can get Keyshawn, Gebbia & Holmes back for the Spring Game. (Would mean Keyshawn had committed already)

Kid has amazing quickness and speed, but he's not going to be able to run around and out race everyone like that in college. I'm not a fan of running backwards to taunt the other team around the 1:30 mark. Looks like a hell of a prospect; fingers crossed on this one.

Half the time he's running around kids, he's jogging. Guarantee you he could do that at a college level. He's a five star athlete... yes, he's probably going to be a little cocky. He was on KJJ's periscope (live feed) of practice this weekend watching the WR/DB 1v1s and there were multiple times he'd critique DBs who let their receiver catch the ball. "Damn, if I was out there... I would have ran that out for him." Then after a goooood ribbing by KJJ and McQuitty, he responded with "nah I guess I'm in high school, I'll shut up."

All you're seeing is his highlight reel (at least that's all I've seen). There are other good athletes who play defense and are on kick coverage. Holmes could very well be a freak who has a season like DPE as a frosh, but the odds are very much against it. I like what I'm seeing here but there's room for minor critiques.
And there are plenty of cocky athletes who are wildly successful and I don't mind the attitude, but I'm not a fan of the antics. It's really not a big deal, I'm only seeing a few clips here and maybe that one play is not indicative of his play generally. Or maybe he is a show-boater, but even so the worst he'll get from me is a frown when he does it.

My only issue with cockiness is the stuff that kills your team. (Desean Jackson diving into end zones flipping the ball and fumbling before he goes in, etc.)
