It's true, we'll never be able to offer another QB and land him. Especially a good one. April is way too late. http://www.scout.com/college/nebraska/story/1539621-nebraska-extends-scholarship-to-o-brienEggs ------> Basket
Down to DONU and Ole MissAdam Gorney just posted an article about Gebbia and it mentioned Husker fans might be interested in this. Not sure what it says but can't be a bad thing.
No huge surprises there.Down to DONU and Ole MissAdam Gorney just posted an article about Gebbia and it mentioned Husker fans might be interested in this. Not sure what it says but can't be a bad thing.
For me, it would be crazy if we could have had Coan and just decided to pass on him. You get both committments here if you can. It's no secret Gebbia was our #1 QB target. Staff must feel pretty good here. Thinking we could have grabbed Coan if we really wanted.

You're not incorrect, but other programs don't necessarily have trouble landing more than one quality QB (UO last year comes to mind).Kids want to be told they are THE guyFor me, it would be crazy if we could have had Coan and just decided to pass on him. It doesn't happen too often where two highly rated/recruited QBs go to the same team the recruiting year. Does it happen here and there? Yes. But it's rare. Best option is get a highly thought of guy and then another guy who isn't as highly rated or known about but can come in, compete, and possibly get good enough to be the guy. You're not incorrect, but other programs don't necessarily have trouble landing more than one quality QB (UO last year comes to mind).Kids want to be told they are THE guyFor me, it would be crazy if we could have had Coan and just decided to pass on him.
