Why does the announcer continue to call him Damion Benning?

I'm liking a lot of what I'm seeing tonight. Yes it's vanilla-ish. But outside of some good throws by the Bulldog QB, the defense looks much more sound than it did last season.

Lots of different offensive formations, with some potential for little wrinkles as the season goes on. Not a ton of jet/fly sweeps or bubble screens either.
