SE says no extension for Miles

He has a roster full of his guys that for the most part are 4 year guys - so he deserves 2/3 years to see if they can put something together. We are in a tough conference and an average team can get run over with the competition that we are facing. Most of our non conference competition and the bottom 2/3 of the league will be games that we should at least be competitive with.

Creighton is gonna be tough this year. They have a pretty talented roster. He's gotta get over the hump on them though.

Wait...that is the excuse that is being used now...if the team does poorly will it change to "We have such a YOUNG talented roster...Miles just needs more time"

Yep. Heard that quite a bit recently. Even Miles is playing that card already.

 
Those are the facts and that would be the dumbst thing for Miles to do. Why would he send out a note that his players don't have talent?
