I can't think of anyone who deserves to be banned or at least suspended more than this f***face.

In the past 24 hours he has:

Told me not to talk about football because I'm female

Asked someone he disagreed with (not me) if they needed a tampon

"#daddyissues"

The first post I recall from him was the one saying only Christians make good coaches. I disagreed with him (politely), so maybe that's why he's being an a-hole to me? Regardless, he doesn't belong here.

My dad is not a Nebraska native, and knew nothing about Husker football when he met/married my mom.

Mom was a fanatic. Knew the game inside & out. Taught me everything I knew about Husker history, the game itself, and how to act with class as a fan.

Consequently, I've never understood the guy theory that "chicks don't know sports" especially when it comes to football. My mom knew more about football and could relate it in a conversation better than most anyone on this board, including me (and I know I don't know much about much, I just type a lot).

So basically dudes who think chicks don't know sports or "need a tampon" or whatever can F off. They're missing out on a huge swath of sports fans with that attitude, and it's their loss. Morons.

I don't think he believes chicks don't know sports and need a tampon, just that Moraine doesn't and needs a tampon. I could be wrong however.

To be fair LJsurf didn't say that *only* Christians make good coaches. I think his point in that thread was that he felt Tom Osborne's faith was instrumental to his success, and he (LJsurfer) asked whether Mike Riley is a Christian. That said, you could tell by the way his post was phrased that that thread would turn into a sh#tstorm. It did not disappoint.

Not sure about the other stuff. But I know that a some people seem to ruffle a lot of feathers on HB when they first start posting, before they settle in and get a feel for the place. Let's hope that's the case here.

I don't think he's going to find his groove here. He already got banned.

Ha ha! I hadn't noticed that when I glanced at his thread that Moraine linked. But I don't think it's a permaban. Still, he's not off to a good start.

Would his profile say it's no longer active if it's not a permaban?

The tampon comment wasn't aimed at me, it was at a guy. It shouldn't be a comment used on anyone and I had a problem with it.

And I didn't make the comment on the Christian post because I cared about the Christian post. I made it because I think my reply in that thread might have been why he was an a-hole to me.

I wish people would learn how to be a$$hole$ to other people about the topic at hand. Not because they're fat or skinny or ugly or female or male or gay or straight or black or white. I'm looking at you, Donald Trump.

I understand what you're saying, Moiraine. And I myself generally try not to say something that would be offensive to a particular group of people. That said, let me play the role of devil's advocate here, for the sake of discussion:

I don't think the tampon comment was aimed at all females in general. But you have to admit, there are some women who become rather acerbic during that time of the month. Granted, the whole Aunt Flo thing is something that us brutish, ignorant males cannot identify with. So maybe that's why men (or at least some men) poke fun of it all the time. Just a thought..
