Yeah, we better not Whiff on some of these recruits, I do not have a good feeling about how things are going so far, I would like to hear some good news soon. =(

Our first In-home visit going to a guy we just offered a couple days ago does not help assuage these feelings.....

2 Ways to look at it fellas.

1. We have learned from past mistakes. We are offering other good players & back-up plans in case we miss on Calvin and Lewis. (Last year we missed on a couple players the final few days of cycle and had no back-up plans in place. (Fitzpatrick, Simmons))

2. We have bad feelings that we aren't going to land our top targets, so we are moving on to the next tier.

I for one am banking on #1 option.

 
This is big pure wishful thinking, but anyone else ever have the thought that these high 4* and 5* recruits we're after are waiting to announce at or near the same time as each other to make a huge splash for Nebraska?

Possible, but probably wishful thinking. But damn that'd be a nice January.

Kind of scary that all 4 of our DL commits have set up or are planning on taking other visits. I bet we keep Porcher and Thomas, but would not be surprised to see the other 2 flip. If Thomas gets an OU offer it would hard for an Oklahome kid to turn that down and Watts recruitment has been really quite.

Let us relax. Daniels just got a crystal ball for Nebraska today. Parrella has been consistent and constant with all of them. Yes, an offer from OU for Thomas would be big, but you just never know.

 
Sounds like we are down to Filiaga, Austin Jackson and Sarell for the last OT spot. Doesn't sound like we have anyone else we're looking to offer.

 
That is still over a week away. They always show ridiculous models this far out. Some models are showing a couple of inches, others are showing a foot or more. It is just to early to tell right now. We will know more about totals by the weekend or start of next week.
