Welcome to the Nebraska form of the two way player. Going back and forth between the trenches playing physical football. This would be something pretty specialWhy not Both? He doesn't have to play TE every down but if we put him in for 10-15 snaps on offense I wouldn't complain. Maybe give him a few snaps of rest on defense and call it good. Kid is a great player and I hope he comes in ready to push for playing time right away with his skill.I always wondered how he would fare at linebacker. I don't think we can really screw up where we put him I think he will be a stud at TE or linebacker.
There are tons of Jurgens in the area. Cam is actually from outside of Pickrell. A small town just a few miles North of Beatrice.Cool, thanks!I am from Beatrice and I grew up with some Jurgens. I just assumed he was related to them.Anyone know why his family lives in Beatrice? Do they teach their family business there they grow up there? I just wasn't sure… Thought maybe someone might know
Wonder if a lot of it depends on the success of our twin towers we picked up and the stable of guys who have yet to prove themselves. Also probably depends on how well our young guys pick up that OLB spot.He is built like a beautiful LB. My vote is yes.
Would be awesome if he could fit the bill as a stud OLB. Able to Tackle, Cover & Pressure the QB.Sounds like it could be either. Are we thinking a OLB or ILB?
