Lee vs. POB

If Lee is named the starter, will O'Brien transfer before the season starts?

From what I can tell:

Michigan only has 2 4* QBs on their roster.

Stanford has 2 4* QBs and one committed for 2018.

Clemson has 2 4* Qbs and a 5* committed for 2018.

Alabama has 3 4-5* Qbs on the roster.
And this season Nebraska is likely to start a 2* guy with only one single in high school!
And he's starting ahead of two 4*s. tell me, did you think he looked like a 1-2* on Saturday?
At Tulane, he looked like an average low end three star qb. He has definitely grown a lot since transferring here and I think he will help us win some games. He will obviously throw an int at some point, but expect the ratio to be 3 tds to one int this year. I am thinking of something along the lines of 27 touchdowns and 9 ints this season or something similar to that to keep it at a 3:1 ratio. Passer rating and completion percentage will be around 65 percent, which is a lot better than what we have seen over the last few years.

Is Lee a top 10 pick with a great season?

Archie Manning seems to think he is talented enough.
Trubisky has basically one (albeit good) year under his belt and could be a Top 5 pick. He played on a 5-loss team. I think it's definitely conceivable for Lee. I don't know what kind of stats he'll put up or how many games we'll win, but barring injury it seems quite conceivable he'll be one of the more high profile names in his year.

I have no idea, I didn't get to watch the game.

My point is that stars aren't everything.

Only one single in HS? So we shouldn't try and get him on the baseball team?
Derp, one single *offer* in HS.

If it's a Heisman caliber type season.
will it take that much though? Look at Trubisky
But you may be right too. Not sure what scouts have on him
More than likely. He's either going to have to have the measurables or the talent. The quarterbacks taken in the first 10 picks the last three years are Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, and Blake Bortles. That's some pretty elite company, and as far as I'm concerned, Lee has not done enough to garner even thinking about the possibility of him being a top 10 pick.
