El Diaco has summed it up beautifully several times. Ya know, I've said about ten times now that I would try not to do that anymore. But your persistance at trying to keep this whole debacle going is making me rethink things, maybe I need to make MORE throwaway comments and then bail on the discussion completely! Yeah, maybe I'll do that!

Or, you could just accept that I genuinely wasn't prepared for a debate about health care in a STATUS UPDATE and I regret ever making a comment. Then you could drop it and move on with your life.

We have some pretty good debates in status updates from time to time, and not just about politics. Often a lengthy exchange will spawn a thread (hopefully not in the 'Shed, though). It's hard to type a long response in the statuses and you don't get any feedback about when you're hitting the character limit.

Simple fact is, it was a true statement that Trump made. One of the very few true statements he's ever made I might add.

Not to steer this away from the interpersonal spat portion of the program again, but I do think condensing it to this is problematic. I know you know what I mean, but without that context this statement looks like "hey, this is one of the few times Trump is saying the right stuff." There are probably actual examples of that.

Maybe we should be less concerned that Redux did not understand the irony of Trump's statement and impact of his contradictory actions and more concerned the Trump does not understand these things.

Hopefully before the 2020 election, Americans will understand how ineffective, misguided, and, shamefully, uninformed Trump is and how that, along with his constant lying, makes him unqualified to be POTUS.

The content of this wasn't my issue so much as the decision making that led up to it, but I've said that eight times by this point, so I think number 9 is probably enough.

I'm not trying to make you out to be an idiot, redux. I think I unfortunately went too far in trying to prove my point that I'm irritated with the certain political approaches on this board and in the country. That's my bad so I apologize.

I'm not trying to make you out to be an idiot, redux. I think I unfortunately went too far in trying to prove my point that I'm irritated with the certain political approaches on this board and in the country. That's my bad so I apologize.

Not a problem, I totally get that. I'll admit, I don't know squat compared to some on here. I'm just leery taking information without all the story. Like zoogs knows his sh#t, but he is also very very planted on one side of discussions, so the info I would learn from him is going to be heavily favored one way. If that makes any sense.
