***2018 Recruiting***

Well if we don't make a very strong push that certainly speaks volumes as MR would know best. With injuries and such, I agree that more depth is a must unless MR feels he cant compete.

With so many people complaining about potential depth in the future you could do worse than to offer an elite 11 player.
Agreed. He could end up being on par with Stanton and then it would be a wasted scholly.
By that logic maybe we should force POB out because he may never play a down for us too. Any potential waste of scholarship must. Get. Out. Now.

So, by you're assessment...

Old staff is better at QB recruiting than current staff and...

Stanton is better than POB?

Word is we have been targeting 4 DBs in this class but now may be looking at five. I don't see how that works at 15 but that's the story. More speculation that we may pass on taking a QB this time around.

Will also be interesting to see if we're now done at WR.

By my assessment you don't bury a kid before they have a chance to prove themselves.

Who recruited him to Oregon State?

Edit: Riley and Cav recruited him originally, though he was a TE prospect out of high school.
Position be damned, they receuited him and could sell him here on dire need. Gotta think we are interested and if we are we would have to be an instant leader.
Oh yeah the position thing doesn't make a difference really I would think. But shows he probably has some good athleticism. As for your question Decked, it's hard to say, I can't seem to find alot about him as far as his O line play is concerned
And perhaps he could fill in at TE should the need arise. I think it makes perfect sense to get him here
