Matty, if you're his source I'm going to seriously consider abusing my Mod powers. You get my hopes up too frequently as it is. 

That said, this does seem like it's playing out perfectly for us.  It doesn't seem like Urban is too happy about the comments. He enjoyed his visit here and it wasn't even game day. 

My concern with him, as it is with almost all prospects, is if the fans get too zealous and negative. I know it actively bugs me at times and I'm just a poster. I can't imagine having it directed at me or the team I was on.

If they want to have the number 5 player in the country at number 3 on the board for his position I'm okay with that. 

I'm going to say the tweet has no bearing on his recruitment. Especially since another 5 star just tweeted the same thing today about starting someone over Barrett. Looks like the #1 Tackle

On Scout, a thread like that one has all relevant fanbases posting in it since multiple boards get tagged. tOSU fans are posting about it like a Manuel Allen situation fwiw. Probably just sour grapes, but I'm interested to follow for now.

It is no secret that Smith and Oweh are really high on OSU's list and have been for a while. It has been stated many times that OSU wants to land all three.

Is it a case of maybe Ohio State thinking Parsons may be the one most interested in them of the 3 guys and them turning more of their attention to the other 2? Just trying to figure out why Ohio State wouldn't be pushing as hard as they can for this guy.

Of course, who wouldn't want this guy.  +1 for that!  He'd be our best catch in a long time.  I'm still stuck in this season and what I believe it will be.  Even if he commits to us ... what will we do with our current season.  Geez, there are four (4) B1G teams ranked in the Top 10 and after seeing our defense the past two weeks taking 3rd in our half of the conference is looking possible.  

I just can't drink any kool-aid at this point ... just too many years in a row of seeing the season fizzle and with that a recruit finding greener pastures with other teams.  Don't get me wrong ... I'm ready for some red pasture ... you will have to prove it to me at this point.  My emotions will not be swayed by this CB by Wilfong.

Obviously I can't speak for the staff, but past articles have said the staff see a lot of potential in Smith and more so in Oweh.

I get it but a Wilfong CB is a big deal.
