Netflix & streaming video stuff worth watching

  • Ozarks - excellent (netflix)
  • House Of Cards - surprising moves by Claire
  • Broadchurch on BBC.  Third season is the best yet - amazing, slow developing, character driven show.

Hard Knocks - can't believe that's not been a separate thread this year!

Yes, we love Broadchurch.

Question though, is this 3rd season weekly on BBC?

We have only watched on Netflix, so I think just the first 2 seasons.

WE LIKE OZARK TOO. A LITTLE SLOW AT TIMES, BUT IT'S STILL GOOD.

THERE IS A SHOW ON NETFLIX CALLED "WHITE GOLD." IT'S SET IN 1980S ESSEX COUNTY. IT'S ABOUT A GROUP OF GUYS SELLING DOUBLE-GLAZED WINDOWS. PRETTY FUNNY

WE ALSO WATCHED A MOVIE ON NETFLIX CALLED "SHOT CALLER"  IT STARS NIKOLAJ COSTER-WALDAU (JAIME LANNISTER). HE GOES TO PRISON FOR DRIVING DRUNK AND KILLING SOMEONE AND THEN HE JOINS A WHITE SUPREMACIST GANG. MAKES SOME WEIRD LEAPS AT TIMES, BUT IT WAS DECENT

Might have to check out Ozarks at some point. I started that "Confessions" documentary last night on Netflix. First two parts were pretty interesting. It's about to hit peak TV time though with NFL, NCAA, Walking Dead, FTWD, Survivor, plus more I'm forgetting, so Netflix time might be hard to come by.

I think Stranger Things comes out around Halloween too.

I just finished it last night - on my DVR so it's likely not yet on Netflix.  Did you try the US version?  Not good at all (imo).

:-)  The original is a BBC product based in England (Dorset I think) the US version has the wife from Breaking Bad in it ... never made it to Season 2 production I don't think.
