REMEMBER ON THESE BOARDS THE GLORY DAYS OF HUSKER FOOTBALL?!

Neither do I.

These boards didn't exist then.  The internet basically didn't exist.  There was pretty much no ESPN College Game Day.

What will all of you do when there is success and National Prominence once again?

Maybe that is why you dismiss the truth.  you don't want it, because there is much more fun on these boards when you are miserable!

I was here to help get the word out.  Get the truth out and lo and behold, it is slowly coming out.  SE is Gone.  As he should have been a long time ago...or really shouldn't have been here in the first place.

You can believe it or not.  Husker Athletics has been in shambles for quite some time, it is no coincidence that everything was falling apart under Eichorst.

Well today is a New Day in Lincoln.  Now they just need to repair it and let's talk again in 3-4-5 years and see if they figured out the correct formula.

I believe in Bounds and Green and that they will make the correct decisions that Harvey and Eichorst failed on.

Time will tell.

College GameDay has been around since 1987 and started going to locations in 1993/mostly 1994.  They went to Lincoln 2 times in 1994.

These message boards weren't around but your favorite publication would allow "fans" the opportunity to vent through The Voice In The Grandstands.

I personally can't wait for the Huskers to be on top again.  There will be a lot less jokers floating around this place.

I love it when people say that, staring at my modems from the 80s. I've been on boards for so long I forget what my old call sign used to be, and I've used this one for about 20 years.

Husker message boards have been around a very long time, many of the current sites being boards that split off over the years.

The present triumph of the "returnnutoglory" wing of Husker fandom makes this seem more like End Times than Good Days.

Yeah, but a lot of people didn't take the time to post because with dial up it took forever to load.  I remember taking an internet class at UNL way back when where we made web pages using binary code.  Technology has changed a lot in the past couple of decades.

OP must be an infant.  I want to return to the glory days of '71-'72 when we ran roughshod over everyone and the Big Eight was THE conference.
