Do we have to be so knee-jerk every time a free-flowing conversation veers away from the thread title?

Young guys had their moments. Bootle started strong, got picked on, but kept at it and had a good play here and there by the end. There'll be better days ahead for these guys.

And now some are questioning their selection.  He has not beaten Ohio State or Michigan State.  What he was hired to do.  These things can happen.

It's the Athletic Directors job to hire the best coaches available. If we can't trust Moos to make good hiring decisions then why did we hire him?

If this place wasn't free to post I'd pay good money to watch the melt down here if Frost isn't hired. Personally, I couldn't care less who is hired as long as we start winning again.

Oh cool another HuskerBoard nihilist. lol  If Eichorst cared about other peoples opinions than himself we wouldn't be in this mess. So yea, I do hope Moos considers the fan base. We pay the bills, fill the stadium, support our team, even when they are dog doo. And cool with the meltdown.... It says a lot about a persons character when they profess there enjoyment of watching other people unhappy..

I'm as big of Frost supporter as you're going to find, but it is ridiculous to compare Harbaugh and Frost.  Harbaugh took over 1-11 Stanford.  By year four, he had them 12-1 and ranked in the top 5.  This was at a power 5.  Then, he went to the NFL and led the 49ers to a Super Bowl.  Their situations are quite different.
