***Official Purdue Game Discussion Thread***

Benning has mentioned a number of times that the QB run is Urban Meyers safety blanket when things aren't going well. The more tOSU I watch, the more I think he's right.
Meyer’s teams are always wound super tight. When things go well early, they are able to relax and do fine. When teams put up a fight early, their buttholes pucker tight enough to turn a piece of coal into a diamond.

Bets have been placed on the game.

Time to head to Barry's and lose money drinking while I lose money being a fan.

How is Iowa State able to get big WR’s,

but NU can’t sniff to any of them?
Their best receiver is a 5 * (something we don't have on this team) that grew up in Iowa. So, meh

I understand that their stud WR is the son of a former Cyclone, but NU loves to recruit the small WR under Riley.

Must win game.  At least I saw an article where Riley and Co are trying to figure out how to make the screen pass game go.  Not bad after 2 years and 7 games.  Riley just gets "it".
Screw the screen game.  Will crap my pants if they worked on a run play that is designed to go OUTSIDE of tackles.

If NU should lose today they’d go O for October.  Last time no wins in October???  2007.  The parallels of these two coaching decisions continues to grow
