I think Frost fits extremely well in the Pac12 and I could see him waiting for a favorable opening out there. Obviously, I hope he comes here though.

UCF is a really good job, Frost can be as picky as he wants.

Damon, it has never been about how much of a hurry he is in. Frost even admitted several times that he got UCF turned around faster then he ever expected. The timeline has sped up. It is also about an opportunity to take something that may only come around once in his life and to pass it up just to stay at UCF and never make the playoff (Remember Boise State) would be something a person regrets later in life.

And Bahe is spot on in his analysis.

In the end Scott Frost will be your next head coach at Nebraska.

I'm tired of the narrative flip flopping about Frost coming or not.  It was fun for a while, but I'm sick of it.  Can it be December please so we can just know!

Agreed.

People who know Frost and are close to him have said they know he wants to coach at Nebraska. If that's true, this is his shot and likely his only legitimate shot for the foreseeable future.

That would sound nice in a book, but I highly doubt that decision 20+ years ago factors into this decision at all.
