*shrugs* I'm just going off what he's done on the college level thus far.  If you want to go down the hypothetical rabbit hole and dream up gadget plays for him as a slot receiver when he hasn't transferred yet to Nebraska nor been asked to switch positions then knock yourself out.

Nice strawman, but you're (intentionally?) missing the point--he'll have a year to learn a new position, and our HC did play as Safety at one point, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. 

Is it likely? Probably not. Is it possible? Yes, and it wouldn't be shocking, either.

I can google stats, but is Vedral that good ?

I don’t recall any news about him in regards to being a FBS-level in state talent that left the state.  Who was recruiting him ?

He wasn't offered by any P5. Solich offered him. I'm guessing Frost would give him a scholarship for who he is, and because he knows the playbook and will be around the other QBs when the coaches can't be.
