I was a little late starting this since another thread already had some predictions.

I moved the posts with game-by-game predictions to this thread.  You'll have to go back and add your votes above if you already posted your game-by-game predictions.

So it appears this has become our early 2018 season prediction thread. If so...

09/08    Colorado    W
09/15    Troy    W
09/22    @ Michigan    W

09/29    Purdue    W*
10/06    @ Wisconsin    L
10/13    @ Northwestern    W*
10/20    Minnesota    W

11/03    @ Ohio St.    L
11/10    Illinois    W
11/17    Michigan St.    L
11/23    @ Iowa    W

I have us going 9-3, beating the teams we should, beating an overrated (IMO) Michigan, and losing

  • at Wisky
  • at the Horseshoe
  • at home to the team that I think will win the B1G outright next season, Michigan State.
It's not going to take *THAT* much improvement to get back to 9-3. It's not like we don't have talent on this team--it was just mismanaged to the Nth degree.

Bowl Game    W

I think Michigan that early in the season and away will be a loss but it will be a closer game than many think.  Wisconsin and Ohio State we lose by at least 7 (hoping for no blowouts this year) and Michigan State we lose by 3.

9 - 4 (best case), 7 - 6 (worst case, bowl and one upset loss)

I'm going with 9-3.  Akron, easy win.  Colorado sucks, not losing to them at home.  Troy will be a dog fight more than likely but we win the 4th quarter.  Michigan is not the well oiled machine people thought it would be by now, I think we pull the upset here.  Purdue is really gonna miss Riley.  I think Wiscy will have enough to beat us in Madison.  I think Northwestern's knack for hanging with us ends after this season, it's close and this is the last time for quite a while that it will be.  Minnesota will give us problems but we win.  OBVIOUSLY not ready to beat Ohio State in the Shoe.  Illinois easy win.  MSU could be a close one.  Iowa, this year begins a dark time for you and our series.

12-0 :waste :smokin

I have us going 8-4 next year.

Akron-W

Colorado-W

Troy- W

Michigan-L

Purdue-W

Wisconsin-L

Northwestern-W

Minnesota-W

Ohio State-L

Illinois-W

Mich State-L

Iowa-W

Honestly, beating the teams we should beat and getting over losing to Iowa would be an improvement for me. We might get blown out by Ohio State, but outside of that, we should be in every game.

I just don't get why people are so high on Michigan. Frankly, they're the biggest pretender in the B1G, and they always seem to drop early contests to lesser teams.  :dunno

I put them at a loss only because they are so early in the season and I don't think this team is really going to be tested by a talented team before that.  I believe our chances of a win against them would be higher if we would play them later in the conference schedule.
