Heh, I'm not sure why I thought Ganz was a walk-on.  Rivals shows him as a 2* recruit in our 2004 class.  He had a scholie.

Spencer Long

Nebraska has an excellent walk-on program with many in-state players willing to pay their own way for an opportunity at Memorial Stadium. Spencer Long is one of the best in the last decade. Coming to Nebraska alongside brother Jake Long, Spencer Long left Lincoln as a second-team All-American and third-round NFL Draft pick. After four seasons with the Washington Redskins, Long signed a $28 million deal with the Jets in March.

Nebraska has had 25 walk-ons drafted in NFL history, which is why a pair of active professional players make the list. Fullback Andy Janovich was a powerful fullback for Nebraska, but won over many fans with his hunger as a special teams player. That same combination makes him a popular player with the Denver Broncos. Heading into year three of his NFL career, Janovich has two touchdowns and nine special teams tackles over 27 games.
