Should the injury last most if not all of the season, what are the rules for a redshirt. Should that happen it could make next years QB battle interesting again.

All players can play in 4 games now due to the rule change, so if he only plays in 3 more he could redshirt still.

I think this is the key to this entire season, with or without AM.

Nobody said this would be easy, including Frost. Maybe it won't work, maybe we have to try it all over again.

But just like with Solich and Callahan and Pelini and Riley I will hope and pray and give them time before I start acting as if the sky is falling.

If Adrian is out for a few games we are 1 injury away from having Masker (another true freshman) as the starter.

Yeah it isn't going to change over night. I know fans want results now, but it isn't a reality. Give him 3+ years to recruit the guys he wants for his system and then judge. Nobody was expecting us to win the National Title this year anyway, so don't overreact to our first game where we lost a heartbreaker.

Dont know the severity yet. Was just told they thought it was MCL and it didnt look like a full tear. Could be sprain or partial basically.

If this is the case, he would be out anywhere from 2-6 weeks.

Which sucks. But they could hold him back until the last 3 games and he could still have 4 years left.

No one knows anything (including the med staff) until the MRI.  There can be educated guessing based of stability tests, but nothing will be known for certain for a day or two.

You can still be positive and know that Bunch isn't winning the West, it's ok.

This year was always about culture shift and learning how to do things for the future. Wins will be nice, but focus on the big picture even without them.

The sky isn't falling even if AM is out for the year.
