Were we better last year?

Our strength program was at an anytime low & players were recruited for a different offense & defensive.  We lack team speed, athletic ability & depth.   The best word for this program is Patience.

Actually this makes me think a lot more that Lee was better than I gave him credit for. Where is the help without Martinez softening up the defense with his running ability? How'd the running game go? It makes you want Solich back who can at least get a decent running game going.
Lee sucked, he was horrible.

Hard to say. Which was worse - losing to Iowa by 42 last year on our home field? Or losing at Michigan by 46 this year? Both outcomes simply confirm we are a below average football program, and our opponents do not care who we once were - nor do they remember.
nor did they ever see.  Its been 17 years.

It absolutely does work that way. You can say process as long as you're getting better.  We're not.

So when a person works out for the first time and they can barely get out of bed the next day - feeling pain and no strength

The best option would be to quit because the process must suck.....

That doesn't work at all. Football, for Nebraska, wasn't invented this year.  We've played for awhile now.
