Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to make changes
True. But the crummy thing is, the new names are never as good as the old names.

Don’t worry Pineapple, I’m still here to have your backSince I've been keeping track of the rep points for so long, I kinda am. Not really "worrying," per se, but I do notice when people stop posting.
In the past few months, regulars who used to be on here all the time have dropped by the wayside. Here's the last six months' worth of input from some formerly frequent posters:

When these guys would average a few hundred posts in a bi-monthly period, that stands out. NUance hasn't posted in two months, most recently after chastising the board for their reaction to the news of the Gebbia transfer, but he's gone silent and come back before.
Excel kinda comes and goes as a Wiscy fan, but he didn't post here this year before the game and only has about 155 posts in the past three years.
It's possible to completely ban the IP, however, doing so would prevent any user from entering the fray through that IP. This results in some unintended consequences so it's reserved for severe cases. If a user gets banned does that block the IP address and everything? or can they come back under a different name eventually . I thought MC was cool would suck if she was gone for good .

Considering you can't physically do that to anyone on Huskerboard, you'd probably a) get away with us not knowing and b) only face real world implications while maintaining safe posting status on Huskerboard. :thumbs
I can almost see your sentencing hearing... "Please, your honor, throw me in prison and toss away the key... but don't ban me from Huskerboard!"
I'm going to have to try this the next time I'm at Eppley!Like anyone that tries to login to Huskerboard from Omaha Eppley Airfield thinking that they got banned
I'm pretty certain the Eppley IP address is banned because of EZ-E.
There are a few other banned locations out there, I've been told. Probably just let it be a surprise for whoever decides to log on there to find out
