Was originally a four-star and the #142 player overall in the 2015 class per the 247 Composite.

Enrolled at Arizona originally.  Had a knee injury in high school so he grey-shirted and didn't enroll until 2016.  Got in some trouble for a bar fight but that doesn't appear to be the reason he left. 

Would be a 2-for-2 guy I believe.

 
I remember it being a big deal when this guy stayed in state. Had issues at u of a with the injury, fighting a bouncer in Scottsdale and not practicing for undisclosed reasons. 

Big time recruit coming out of high school though.

 
Curious as to why? Just need juco guys on campus earlier? Or is it lack of interest because they (he) still doesn’t have his grades and stuff together so it’s a red flag?

Is that the Independence JUCO in Kansas? If it is, then that means he'll be on Last Chance U next season.

... And if it's a different Independence, then he probably won't be on it. :)
