Again, definitions are important. This is not "video of the assault."  It's not an assault until it's shown in court to be an assault. She hasn't filed charges yet.  Lot's of stuff pending in the situation. 

As of now it's video of three kids which apparently show sex acts. Nobody has seen the video, so we can't be sure about what it shows. If it shows underage sex acts, even consensual, distribution of that video is a crime.

I didn't explain myself well. I meant it's at least as bad as just recording an assault, not as bad as being present and not stopping the assault.

Regardless, he still attempted to humiliate the girl by using revenge porn. That's enough to get the boot IMO.

Let's be careful of the words we use here. These situations can be far worse or far less severe than they seem at first blush.  Let's wait until the second wave of news hits. We haven't heard from Washington yet.

There's plenty of time to kick the guy off the team. Let's be sure we need to before we convict him here.

Yeah, there is a LOT of evidence that Scotty Frosty is willing to look the other way when it comes to character of players he is recruiting.  There is a preferred walk-on from the 2019 class from Lincoln Southwest that beat police officer, seriously injuring him and putting him in the hospital, during a drunken brawl at a high school party.  Since he was 17 at the time, the parents fought like crazy to keep it in juvenile court and succeeded in doing so (a family friend is a police officer, so this is all straight from him).  In the end, he never was held accountable at his high school for this or by Nebraska who brought him in.  It is not like things like this were not discussed or widely known.  

So yes, there is strong evidence that character can be overlooked when it comes to players.

This is one side of the story.  I know cops usually get to tell their side and thats the one that counts, but if the kid is underage he is underage. Can you provide articles or facts for this story?

we dont even know if Maurice knew she was 15 in the video. We dont know squat yet.

What do you  need?  The officer who he put in the hospital or any of the number of LPD officers who were sickened by the lack of punishment?  Not like the officers have a reason to lie about something like that now would they?  Like I said, not like it was so far under the rug that it did not see the light of day.  Juvenile court is great that way, even if he was weeks away from being 18 years old.

Got any evidence of any of those things? Officers are people and people lie about a lot of things for a lot of reasons.
