Might be a standard bail.  Set for the offense.  Wonder if it was secured or not.  IMHO, pretty standard amount.

The bail amount is different than the amount Washington has to post to go free. It's possible the judge let him go on his own cognizance or for some percentage of the bail like 5% or 10%. I haven't seen an exact number in the reporting.

Exactly or get it thrown out of court for something we are completely unaware of.  I still think there is more to the story.

I agree 100%, but states normally do not extradite on misdemeanor so the felony was added.

They added the felony because child porn is a felony! They did not just add fake charges.

Nobody is saying they did. All that's being said is that the process of going through criminal justice with lawyers is complicated, subjective and sometimes things are done for strategic reasons towards other things.
