Maybe I'm out here on the lunatic fringe, but Knapp's theory about an ongoing Russian disinformation campaign is starting to seem more plausible.

Nobody, even if you're almost completely technologically illiterate and can't use a keyboard, uses that particular phrasing. Unless they're a non-native English speaker. Which I suppose is more likely. But then again, Russians would fit that description, too...

No idea why they'd target a college football forum, though.

I don’t use this word very often but it’s what fits best for this.

Why are there so many pussies on this forum that are so weak they private message the dumbass right wing nutjobs who post in the politics forum to help them feel better about themselves?

I mean, I guess I don’t want them to post. But it’s hilarious how every time we get one of these people we hear about all the PMs of support they get. I guess they could be lying but the eyeroll reactions say there are at least 1-2 people who are too wimpy to post.

It’d be a pretty far reach. But when foreigners think America, football is probably one of the top things. They could also just be searching for politics forums and this pops up if there are enough people.

I wish the U.S. would hire me to spread disinformation onto foreign measage boards for a living.

I'm just going to assume DeWiz is one of the eyerollers who still lurks in P&R when something perceived as good for Trump happens, and maybe a Ric Flair sock.

I thought about responding to that post and explaining to him that the people PM'ing him are more than welcome to post themsolves in P&R but they choose not to.

And that should tell him something about the strength of their arguments, as well as the ones he makes.

So they care enough to still drop eyerolls and PM encouragement to the Trumper flavor of the month on P&R, but not enough to post themselves?

I don't have a problem with your word choice. Let's face it; most of the time hardcare Trumpers aren't generally the most intellectual folk and their idea of reasonable debate/discussion/arguments really sucks. Generally it's just some lame variation on the "Libs are evil and hate Trump and America more broadly! They won't let him do his job, but he still goes out and does his best to MAGA despite the corrupt Democratic elite being aagainst him! NOW SHUT UP AND BOW DOWN! WE WON!"

Which is, of course, a gigantic load of bulls#!t. But it makes them feel better to believe that and other conspiratorial crap than admit that the guy they hitched their wagon to is an a$$ who pisses most of the country off and isn't very good at his job due to his numerous character flaws and his party's rather s#!tty governing ideology.

Trumper's don't last because their arguments suck and they're not very bright. Or they're just trolls. Most of the reasonable conservatives already post regularly or semi-regularly and get along just fine (BRB, JJ, TGH). Trumpers they are not.

I know literally one Trump voter who I would consider insightful, intelligent and informed. No idea how he voted for Trump, as it doesn't line up with the rest of him, but whatever. I know maybe a handful of others who are at best one and a half of those three things. Out of all the Trump voters I know (a lot), they all seem to be a pretty dumb or simple or ignorant bunch.

The dregs of society.

I mentioned that to one of the Mods, and asked that we please enforce the rule to keep politics in P&R, and was told that MacroBoy had changed their avatar to Trump before this so it was OK. Or something.

Presumably a person's "body of work" does not apply to avatars.
