This one's on me.  I was overly vocal about how it bothered me from the get go, it snowballed from there and s#!t happened.

 
I do have to say, I'm a little disappointed in the crowd in here for letting themselves get so upset about an avatar.  The sole purpose of that avatar was to grind the gears of those who dislike Trump to such a point it ruins their day, and it is clearly working.  This is the kinda thing I brought up the other day, the mood here is just not fun.  That said I don't think he should have to change it.  While ot is political because of who it is, I don't think it pushes an agenda.  Rather just a badge of support.  Granted that badge is ruffling feathers, but it shouldn't.  If you want him to win, keep complaining about it.

Agreed.

Its complete bulls#!t that people can have anti-Trump avatars for months if not over a year (NM with hers, commando I think it was him with his 45 that resembled a Swastika) that come to mind and nothing was done or said but when I change it to a Trump yesterday and then a day later we get this avatar policy is pretty obvious and telling on who this board is favoring.

Theres a bunch of babies on this board that get so bent out of shape it ridiculous...for example Roxy’s thread comes to mind.

I suppose we should all just post more status updates about "winning", go radio silent for months in a certain forum then only show up to gloat when things look positive for our emperor and change our avatar .  Oh, and tell the women to make me a sandwich.

Also, never actually post an opinion and do the equivalent of an eyeroll which is to post some random Twitter user’s opinion on the subject, then respond to any retorts to said tweets with gifs.

In my opinion, the board has been a better place since we put the status update referendum in place, just as the general 'no P&R outside of P&R' has been an improvement. We've had to dish out less warnings and less suspensions related to P&R as a result, and we've had board members tell us they find the overall board more enjoyable. This latest move was probably a natural progression we should've made from the beginning.

I agree here, more-or-less, in that we did not receive reports about political content in avatars until your recent switch. However, the change in policy enforcement to further remove politic content from the board, outside of the PR forum, will be done without bias by the mod team.

The board favors people that get offended quite easily who feel the need to seek out  a safe place to protect them from their insecure emotions such as yourself and the P&R posse.

Hey, I'm one of the lib-iest members of the board, and I'm in here saying I think you should be able to have whatever you want, even if I think it's weird.

Pretty similar to how I feel about the First Amendment. Everyone should have the right to say their piece, even if it's stupid and there will be consequences for doing so.
