JUCO WR Omar Manning

To which school will Manning commit?

We could but it would be tight. We already have 10 commits and have 2 RB and this would make 3 WR.

We still need a TE 2 DE's 2 LB 3 DB's and an OL for sure. That puts us at 20.

We're probably only taking 22 this class so if we take another WR on top of Manning that means we are either not taking an extra LB or we are sticking with only one OL recruit in the class.

I'm guessing 1 QB, 2 RB, 3-4 WR, 1 TE and 3-4 OL for 10-12 on offense.  3-4 DL, 3-4 LBs and 3-4 DBs for 10-12 total.  Probably 23 or 24 total if we can get guys we want.

I don't think we take that many, also we will probably end up way heavier on D this class. There are 12 scholarship defensive seniors (8 on 2 deep) and only 6 offensive scholarship seniors (just 2 on 2 deep) this year. Also, we loaded up offense on last year. (16 on O to 11 on D last class)

8 of those defensive seniors are in the back 7 so we need extra DB's and lots of LB's to go with 2 if not 3 more DL.

Our luxury pick on offense was either a 4th WR or a 2nd RB and they went RB.

I'm not sure where you're getting all your numbers.  There are 11 scholarship seniors on defense and 4 on offense this year.  We had 14 on offense and 11 on defense in the last class (after moving two defensive linemen to offense).

There are 6 senior LBs/DBs - which is actually the back 8 in a 3-4.  We took 4 DBs and 5 LBs in the last class so we are loaded up nicely in the younger ranks.  I already said we'd take 3-4 defensive linemen.

So we need rivals and others to pull their head out of their A$$$ and update their ratings on him so he will be a 4 star composite?
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. It’s understandable that recruiting services don’t focus on Jucos as much as high schoolers. He has already been rated once.

What’s missing for him to get a composite rating? He is 4 star 90 on 247. Rivals just rated him as 5.9 4 star. I think he will be another husker composite 4 star recruit
