You would think there is a greater than a 90 percent chance that USC will offer. Our team's performance last week didn't help. Oh well.
This makes me think Kuli would be a bad way for them to go. Adding him would only make their roster more top heavy in terms of class. What they need is young players with three or four years to play and ideally a rs since the upper classmen have the position tied down for the near future.Just glancing over USC's roster, but they have 6 DE's listed. Only one is listed as a freshman or sophmore. The rest are juniors and seniors. So legitimately, Kuli could go in and play opposite of Kyle Moore and Everson Griffen from day 1.
Actually, no. You do not want to bring in any lineman and expect them play a large number of downs from day 1. Essentially, that is what you would be doing right now by going to USC as a true freshman. The only type of lineman (offensive or defensive) that are physically ready are the freaks of nature like Kris O'Dowd and Andre Smith. Those types don't come along too often. This makes me think Kuli would be a bad way for them to go. Adding him would only make their roster more top heavy in terms of class.
