Blackout?

Oklahoma, Cornell, and Indiana called and they want their righteous indignation back. 

Try to imagine my disappointment the first time I heard it out here (AZ) and find out they were talking Cardinals.

Yes, but until you get it sponsored by the school I don't think it'll ever happen.

Yup...although I am sure there would be some type of deal, etc etc with a shirt company...the simple numbers point to a half a (+  or -) million cost.

Pretty sure the athletic department can find that sort of pocket change in the cushions of their couches.

I've read that Penn State sets their white out game before the season starts and it's printed on the tickets.  Gives people plenty of time to prepare   That is the way to do it.

Looking forward to the alt unis but not sure about a black out for a day game.

I really think no matter how much notice you provide or even provide the shirt to the fan, we have enough curmudgeons that would refuse to participate where we could not pull it off...sad

If Iowa can Alternate black and yellow, we can coordinate a blackout.  Once every other year at home, against a yearly opponent, we wear black and the team wesrs a black alternste.  That's the tradition I want.

But yes, it absolutely has to be university supported.

Penn State doesn’t hand out white tees, that’s a staple to their fan gear. The white pom poms are handed out though.

I believe Oregon does the same thing.

How about RED out - we practically do that every game and it would save all of us $$s 

But to your point - a black out would be cool.
