Miami was desperate and had to give a last second phone call to stir up BS rumors. Of all those guys at the South Dade table, only one picked Miami. Add to it the Canes lost Fleming and Miami in panicking.

When Miami is right, they put a wall down in South Florida, that certainly isn't happening under Diaz.  Losing to former coach, Butch Davis at Florida International, isn't helping things.  'Husker recruiting making a point of emphasis to go where the program is down is a good strategy.  I remember that worked pretty well in AZ with Amukumara, Hagg, Jones, Burkes (unfortunate result for him due to health) etcetera when U of A and ASU were scuffling.

Good point.

What is he supposed to say about Miami? Anything remotely negative and the kid gets blasted on Twitter. They were almost baiting him so they could write a story to generate clicks.
