If we're going 6-6, was it really a great season anyway? What's the difference between 5-7 and some nobodycarespotatoes.com bowl?
You can bet your candy a*s it'd be a great season for a program that hasn't made a bowl game in 3+ years. Listen, truth be told, there's not
that many gotd*mn teams in the COUNTRY that could make a bowl game with that schedule. If we happen to make one, then it'd be a tremendous step forward for our program in terms of confidence especially in Frost, recruiting, breaking the non-bowl game streak, etc.
NO COACH at
any blue-blood today will survive an extra year after coaching their team to no bowl games for 3+ years straight. Never. It isn't ever going to happen today. They say never say never? IIIIIIII'm saaaaaying never gotd*mmitt. IIIII don't give a daaaaaa*n if the coach that did so won 600 national championships straight before it happens. IIIIIII don't give a daaaaa*n if the only reason it happened was because every starter on the team got injured before the season even started. It won't happen.
Now don't get me wrong. It
will be tough. We
will be pissed at the sorry disappointing a*swhoopins we
do take along the way. But a bowl game at
this particular point for this program will mean everything. Don't you sit there and be ungrateful if Frost ends up losing in a "nobodycarespotatoes.com bowl game" gotd*mmit because that'll mean a lot including the fact he actually got there with one of the toughest schedules in the country.
I know the standards are unbelievably out of this wooooorrrrlld "low" and that pisses me off too to kingdom kum. But you can't be ungrateful and we ought to celebrate Frost if it
does happen. And if it doesn't......
Say Hello to our new coach.....
