I thought I saw a post the other day in the Complain About Ads thread where he told Max something to the effect of “you’ve turned this site into a joke and so are you” but I can’t find it now.

So did @BigRedMax delete a post and ban someone for this critique? Or is there something else we are missing. 
 

I try not to be a complainer but the criticism and frustrations since Max took over this site have been frequent and legitimate. Are you going to actually address your customer’s concerns or just ban the malcontents?

There has been other stealth editing in that thread.

It looks like dissent may not be allowed. I'm all for banning folks if they repeatedly violate board rules, but is there a rule against not liking ownership? A ban seems unnecessary. A vacation, maybe. But it's not like Landlord was a repeat offender.

I asked Max via PM and received a reply, but I'm loathe to share it here without his permission.

It would be good if Max or someone on "the team" would respond here. Landlord's been a member for over a decade. A lot of people could use an explanation on what happened.
