Even if KSU is as bad as last year it will be a Q2 game since it's neutral site. ACC Game will be Q2 also because virtually every team in the major conferences are.Fred clearly not scheduling for the NCAA’s, or really even the NIT’s at this rate. We’ve got a lot of new guys so I get it but.. yeesh.
Creighton will likely be a Q1 game. Other than that... a lot of garbage.
Kansas State game in KC will be cool but KSU finished dead last in the Big 12 last year and finished 3-15 in the league.
Home game in the ACC B1G challenge will likely be against the worst or second worst team in the ACC. Probably either Miami or GT (again) since Wake was on the road last year.
UMKC, IPFW, and Cleveland State are putrid.
Myrtle Beach Invitational has some decent names but we’ll have to get lucky. Utah State and Dayton are likely going to be the best two teams there. Mizzou, Pitt, and Loyola (Chicago) all sound great until you look at their NET ratings. And then there’s Penn (decent) and Charlotte (less good but decent).
In light of the Big Ten making all fall sports conference only, what impact does this have on the non-conference basketball schedule? Is basketball considered a winter sport without any changes (at this time) even though these games would still be played when it is technically fall?We have games on the schedule! Hooray!
Chris Heady touched a little on this yesterday:In light of the Big Ten making all fall sports conference only, what impact does this have on the non-conference basketball schedule? Is basketball considered a winter sport without any changes (at this time) even though these games would still be played when it is technically fall?
feels inevitable at this pointAnd more no hoops until January talk...
