While those are a good idea from a legal perspective, they won't prevent lawsuits.  Every student athlete signs a waiver saying they understand there's a risk involved in sports, but that didn't prevent Nebraska from being sued by the injured cheerleader in the 90s.  UNL lost that suit, and as a result grounded cheerleaders from aerial stunts and kept male cheerleaders off the field for more than a decade.
That should just always be the case.

Omg! How many are on vents?

Off topic but they are sometimes needed as body guards.  During one of the student migration games I attended at Missouri (1999?), we were in the south end zone stands when several of the male cheerleaders on the field below us took off sprinting up the sidelines.  I looked up to see some Missouri students had Lil Red pulled half way into the student section and were pummeling him with punches.  Luckily the guys got him freed.

Most of the second half was a parade of Missouri students being escorted out of the stadium.  Good times.

The good old days when people disliked us enough because we were good. Now they would probably bring lil red a drink out of pity.

Where are the people that monitor this site?  People come here to discuss sports and get away from all the BS going on today...and some azz hole has to inject politics.

There is an awful lot of BS that is having an effect on the topic of this thread.  Politics will also have a big influence.  I'm not sure if you have noticed, there aren't exactly a lot of sports being played right now to discuss.

Something to keep an eye on as far as a season goes. The hospitalization rate of those under 50 is going up a lot compared to the spring months. In Texas, 50% of those hospitalized are under 50 right now.

If a football staffer or player ends up in the hospital or worse from this I think it'll be a pretty major game changer as far as a season goes. Positive cases are one thing, but if schools start fearing that players or staffers are going to end up in the hospital I think their risk appetite changes pretty dramatically.

ok, back on topic.

I have been watching the Corona bug and I thought it would behave like many "Flu" like bugs but it appears I was wrong about that.  I thought for sure we would have a full season (in early May) but now I am thinking that may not happen. This bug doesn't seem to be affected at all by warmer temps and I read that I has mutated some (that is really not good) to be more contagious.  I am still hopefull we get a full season in but I am more along the lines of 50-50 at this point.

Sad fact, how many mutating virus' has the medical community "cured"?

Answer (not good) ZERO.
