That should just always be the case. While those are a good idea from a legal perspective, they won't prevent lawsuits. Every student athlete signs a waiver saying they understand there's a risk involved in sports, but that didn't prevent Nebraska from being sued by the injured cheerleader in the 90s. UNL lost that suit, and as a result grounded cheerleaders from aerial stunts and kept male cheerleaders off the field for more than a decade.

Oh I am sure of it!I knew one of the guys who was Herbie in the mid 2000s, and some of the things he described happening at cheerleading parties don't belong outside the 'Shed.
I don’t believe it! Tell us or we’ll all know you’re lying!I knew one of the guys who was Herbie in the mid 2000s, and some of the things he described happening at cheerleading parties don't belong outside the 'Shed.
The good old days when people disliked us enough because we were good. Now they would probably bring lil red a drink out of pity.Off topic but they are sometimes needed as body guards. During one of the student migration games I attended at Missouri (1999?), we were in the south end zone stands when several of the male cheerleaders on the field below us took off sprinting up the sidelines. I looked up to see some Missouri students had Lil Red pulled half way into the student section and were pummeling him with punches. Luckily the guys got him freed.
Most of the second half was a parade of Missouri students being escorted out of the stadium. Good times.
There is an awful lot of BS that is having an effect on the topic of this thread. Politics will also have a big influence. I'm not sure if you have noticed, there aren't exactly a lot of sports being played right now to discuss.Where are the people that monitor this site? People come here to discuss sports and get away from all the BS going on today...and some azz hole has to inject politics.
Measles is completely cured if people would get vaccinated.Sad fact, how many mutating virus' has the medical community "cured"?
