the foreign actors learned that you only have to compromise 1 party. One more thing from Friday's topic. If you were really worried about a foreign actor rigging an American election, you would know the electoral college is the perfect defense against it. The actor would have to target about 10 different states and contrasting fingerprints would be all over it. That is why for all of the meddling that foreign governments have tried for 200 years the have never really changed the outcome of an American Presidential election.
Poker player Johnny Moss said something like Reckon they'll bring any tourists next trip?
Looks like they already did it. Classic Star Trek episode finds a Nazi planet run by Federation scholar John Gill. At the end, ***50 YEAR SPOILER*** they find out that Gill is a drugged up puppet for the Commandante.

I know, I should know better than to desire anything else. My bad. It just completely baffles me how anyone gets to this point. It's sad but not the kind of sad that makes you feel sorry for the person. Rather the kind of sad you wished didn't exist. There's never an attempt at discussion. It's just attack, attack, attack. Propaganda, propaganda, propaganda.

A con man named Walter Trump comes to town filled with gullible people promising to save it's citizens from impending doom.
he was a con man. that's the point of the story.Yes but this particular character isn't trying to build a casino in their podunk town. The con-man, citing letters after his name, is warning the people of an impending armageddon by some vague unprovable natural disaster that isn't that different from the climate changers.
"Can you prove he's wrong?"
It all depends where those disapproving people are - the electoral college enables Trump to be viable even if the majority disapprove.I look at this graph just about every week and think to myself..."how can anyone with a graph that looks like this win reelection." But....I'm still nervous we are going to have another 4 years of this crap.
