Just went through Knapp's chronological breakdown, and in the simplest terms, that's what happened. 

I was also taking the more generic position that playing "gotcha!" with the various banned accounts around here strikes me as a waste of time and energy. If the new screen name starts breaking rules that other posters follow, maybe that's a fresh punishment. But Knapp is heavy on citing Redux's political leanings, and that's where enforcement gets a little dicey around here.

Redux's political leanings are germane to the discussion because they're why he created his troll sock account. He wanted to let his Trump flag fly. 

I guess I don't see why you'd defend someone's attempt at trolling, but you do you.

I don't know how you can read through that breakdown and think Redux created his Frank/Rusty account to circumvent a ban. 

Also, if he had done that, it's an immediate ban per board rules. You may not like those rules, you may constantly shout at the clouds over those rules, but those rules have been what we've all abided by here since this site was founded. 

 
Look man, you have a whole laundry list of stuff to dislike me for and you read it off for everyone to hear.  A lot of it is opinions and assumptions but that's perfectly within your rights.  I'm telling you, sorry you think those things and that I'm a different person now than I was when we would butt heads.  I'm in a better place and a lot of that is because I didn't inject myself into negativity for 3 and a half months.  I only came back because Football is actually happening.  You don't have to worry about me ruffling feathers, as you said, even if I wanted to I'd quickly catch a permaban because I'm obviously on a short leash.

Let's take this opportunity to just put this little rivalry behind us.  There are more important things to worry about.

 
I don't have a rivalry with you, redux. I don't like trolls and have had more than my share of fun exposing them and getting them banned.

It's a hobby. It's not personal.

All I wanted was your version of what happened. Doesn't seem like we'll get it out of you. Idk why not. It's just a message board and I was just curious why you did whatever you did. 

I still ask my friends why they did he stupid s#!t they did and I would expect them to do the same and give me s#!t for my f#&% ups too.

 
My version doesn't matter, there aren't many who would take it at face value anyways.  I paid the price for it so crying about it or trying to defend it after the fact is irrelevant.  I'll just say it's my own fault for association and leave it at that.

No it isn't. You said someone got banned so they created a sock. That didn't happen at all, the order is the reverse opposite. Redux didn't get suspended until the mods found out he created a sock account. Redux didn't create an account to get around a ban (or suspension). He only got a warning, something which many of us have. I have 4 and I'm still posting.

I have no idea, other than a morbid need for attention - even if it's opprobrium - why you don't just end all of this and fess up to what you did.

Because at some point some Mod is going to get tired of your schtick and spill the whole story, and everyone will know for a fact what lies you've told. 

 
Welp, until then I'll just let yall enjoy talking s#!t about me.  I'll be in the Foozball forum.  I'll leave you with this, I'm genuinely a little creeped out knapp went to that much trouble to connect dots in an effort to expose me for something I didn't have much of a hand in.  I'll just assume he's half the reason for my punishment and is now pissed because it wasn't permanent.  I base that off his own admission of getting off on sleuthing trolls.

Again, I'm in a different place now.  I'm not engaging in these childish arguments any more.  At least not planning on it any time soon.  I'm here for the Football.  GBR
