Question--if our athletic WRs aren't able to get onto the field because they don't know the playbook...don't we have a group of capable TEs that *do* know the playbook that we could use?
I mean, if it works for teams like Iowa to move the ball downfield using just TEs, why can't we see more TE passing plays worked into this offense to compensate for our lack of WR depth/ability/readiness? (Re)watching the Northwestern game, I really didn't see the TEs involved except for a couple of times...
...now if I'm missing some because of errant throws or broken plays, that's my bad. But we've heard about how great our TEs are, and they're experienced, why not put the ball in their hands (more than just a few times--like double digits).
