Ads inside of threads are too intrusive.

So what's the deal with the floating banner ad at the bottom? Now it seems like every other ad doesn't have the button to close it. This is screwing up a function of the board (as I've mentioned before) because it covers up notifications for new posts in the thread you are viewing and messages and whatnot. Can't you just stick another ad on the side and get rid of this floating banner nonsense?

If you're talking about the little gray one, that doesn't close the ad. That's just analytics if it was inappropriate, intrusive, not relevant, etc. When you click it the box never goes away like the old banner ad X

Yeah, that bottom banner is a PITA. Once in awhile you’ll get an X that will close it but more often, lately, it doesn’t go away. So when keyboard pops up there is not enough screen left to see the entry field. Pretty much sucks.

 
Anyone else getting video ads in the bottom pop-up banner? They pop up, start playing automatically, cut off my music from Spotify. Really f#&%ing annoying

 
Yes, but havent had any in a week or so. They didnt start right away, then out of nowhere i had them playing. Was quite puzzling at first trying to figure out what i did.
