What is the future of the Republican Party?

The short-term future of the Republican party may involve quite a bit of divestiture. What will be interesting is who ends up with the larger slice of pie.

True.  I just think it would be easier for the GOP to make a real genuine push to drive out the crazies than create something new with the same basic political beliefs.

I would hope that it would be a totally new platform. Right now, neither side has a monopoly on good ideas.  Why not create a party that combines the good from both sides?

 
She's apologizing for being caught quoting Hitler yes.  You know the drill with Republicans.  Get caught first, then apologize later.  This example however is unconscionable and that's an understatement if there ever was one.  

She should resign immediately but....in typical Republican fashion that won't be happening.
